Installation for iDevice (iPhone, iPad, iPod Touch)

Welcome to the installation page for your iDevice (iPhone, iPad, iPod Touch). Copy9 is ONLY compatible with ANY jailbroken iDevice (iPhone, iPad, iPod Touch) 3G, 3GS, 4, 4S, 5 at least 3.1.3 firmware and above. You need Cydia application to install Copy9.

This guide assumes you have already open an account on www.copy9.com

IMPORTANT NOTE: It is recommended you do a backup of your phone in iTunes before proceeding with the steps. The steps will not cause you to lose any music, pictures, apps, settings, etc. We DO NOTprovide support with jailbreaking the iPhone, but can recommend useful sites to obtain information on the jailbreaking process.

There are 2 different groups of steps you must perform. These groups of steps are listed below:

A. Jaibreak your iDevice (iPhone, iPad, iPod Touch) which install Cydia at the same time

B. Install Copy9 using Cydia

A. Jailbreak your phone which installs Cydia.

What is Jailbreaking & Why do I need it?
The application Copy9 needs to run silently in the background. It's necessary to jailbreak your iDevice (iPhone, iPad, iPod Touch) so you can run the silent application in the background.

B. Install Copy9 using Cydia

	Search On the springboard of your iDevice (iPhone, iPad, iPod Touch) the icon of Cydia. Tap with your finger on the icon Cydia to run the application.			Tap Manage on the main screen of Cydia
Agree to any requests from Cydia. If it asks you to choose "Developer, User, or Hacker" please choose "User". Then Cydia will restart to reflect those changes. If Cydia asks you to download any updates, please do so.

	Then tap the Sources box.			On this screen tap Edit button.

	Then tap the Add button.			In the Add Sources pop-up box, type: http://iphone.copy9.com and tap On buttonAdd Source.

	Tap Done button.			Now tap the iphone.copy9.com

	Now tap on the Copy9 entry.			Then tap the Install button to install Copy9

	On this screen, tap the button Confirm.			Wait until Cydia finished to install the application Copy9 in your iDevice (iPhone, iPad, iPod Touch). When this screen appears, Press the Home button to exit the application Cydia Wait until Cydia finished to install the application Copy9 in your iPhone. When this screen appears, press the Restart Springboard.
